Glitchers

We are a 2 piece protest punk band who have been travelling the UK playing hardcore punk gigs on the streets in towns & cities as a form of protest against the complete shut down of the arts.

Jake started teaching Sophie to play the drums at the end of 2019 and here we are the summer of 2020 playing our only shows outside to whoever will stop and listen.

We roll up to town/city centres and throw down our living room rug, a drum kit, 4×12 & head, a megaphone and our trusty donation bucket and off we go.  Everything we do is for donations; merch, gigs and all. We make our actions match our words.

One of our street gigs was picked up by Daniel Carter (Radio 1 Rockshow) which led to a number of our inspirations like Enter Shikari, Stray From the Path, Anti Flag and more sharing it too.

“Relovelution” our first single was featured on kerrang radio by Alex Baker.

We ended our “Street Tour” at the infamous Downing Street and gave them a punk gig from the back of a flatbed truck. Retrain This!
