VENUS GRRRLS

Ethereal and tenacious, VENUS GRRRLS are an all girl rock band from Leeds, promoting the participation, acknowledgement, and respect of women in the music industry. Aiming to bring fortitude and activism through hard hitting alternative rock music, the quintet use electronic and astrological sounds to amplify their sonic signature. With singer/rhythm guitarist Grace ‘GK’ Kelly fronting the band, she is joined with Jess Ayres (Lead Guitar), Hannah Barraclough (Bass), Grace Stubbings (Synth) and Gabby Cooke (Drums). Implementing Riot Grrrl aesthetics and ideologies, VENUS GRRRLS intend to contribute to the elimination of age old interpretations and microaggressions toward women in rock.

VENUS GRRRLS are best known to have performed alongside bands such as All Time Low, Stealing Sheep, Bloxx, Estrons and Anteros.
