Kerry is co-founder of Red Grape Music, a UK-based independent label and artist management company. She currently manages multi-award-winning folk legend Peggy Seeger, Iceland’s #1 album charting acoustic artist Hafdis Huld (a 2020/21 PRS Keychange artist) and former #1 UK singles chart artist Luke Concannon (one half of hip-hop folk duo Nizlopi). Through her guidance, her artists have accessed label and licensing deals, publishing contracts, sync licenses, independent funding and international touring. She also administrates the catalogue of folk singer and songwriter Ewan MacColl (‘First Time Ever I Saw Your Face’, ‘Dirty Old Town’)
She works both with developing artists at early stages and well-established artists, in particular helping to re-focus their careers at significant cross-roads. She also provides one-off consultancy services for independent artists.
Kerry is currently on the Board of the UK Music Managers’ Forum. She was on the Board of the Association of Independent Music for 5 years, during which time she helped inaugurate both the Women in Music Awards and the AIM Independent Music Awards. She is a showcase juror for Folk Alliance International, a member of the BRITs judging panel and has presented on numerous panels at music conferences. She is also a mother and step-mother of 6 children and has a strong interest in supporting parents working in music.
