Amie Huckstep

Amie Huckstep is a singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Glasgow, Scotland. Her music is heavily influenced by acoustic pop and folk and her style has been described as ethereal and melodic.
She began writing music at 16 and has since developed her love for storytelling. Using plucky guitar rhythms, dreamy vocal harmonies and, on occasion, some warm and cosy clarinet sections, her goal is to draw you into her world and make you feel at home.
In 2019, Amie started playing the bar and restaurant scene in Edinburgh after getting involved with the open mic community. She has since moved to Glasgow and found a love for the thriving music scene there.
Her debut EP was released on the 20th November 2020 and has since been featured as a BBC Introducing Song Of The Week on The Quay Sessions. She has acquired over 380,000 total streams on Spotify and featured on a track with DJ Chrissy Meechan.
