*****
Graciela was born in Galicia (Spain) and has spent the last 17 years in the UK. In early stages of her career she completed studies in classical, jazz singing and musical education, performing classical, jazz but also pop, Latin, Spanish pop and electronic music in Spain and Puerto Rico. She performed on prestigious stages and TV stations such as Glastonbury and BBC TV’s “Children in Need”. Not to mention touring across Europe with Björk and working alongside Ricky Martin and Shakira. Graciela Rodriguez has nurtured her talent in many groups, most notably singing with ‘the Godfather of Salsa’ Roberto Pla, famous for his strong influence on the Afro-Latin music scene, and the funksters J-Sonics, with sold-out concerts at the London Latin Jazz Festival or the Love Supreme Festival.

Her songwriting style has always been an eclectic mix, with the common denominator of truth and passion. Hew latest album “Shadows & Dreams” is a tale of personal experiences lived in the last few years, where Graciela’s spiritual and emotional self has grown into exploring her dreams, fears, insecurities, sorrows, beauty, light, darkness, love and the nature of life, the acceptance of the negative as part of love.

Contrary to her previous albums, of a pop nature, and with producers such as Andy Whitmore on board (Pet Shop Boys, Eternal, Spandau Ballet, Elton John), “Shadows & Dreams” has been written, arranged and produced by Graciela in its totality, and she has played almost all the instruments in it, everything recorded in her home studio.

“Shadows & Dreams” and previous albums are available on iTunes and Spotify
