Jackie Rainey

Belfast based musician Jackie Rainey has been entertaining crowds for many years playing upbeat cover songs. Jackie is also a songwriter and regularly travelled to Nashville TN to co-write, she has been the opening act for many talented performers including Paul Brady, Eliza Gilkyson and Gretchen Peters to name a few. In 2012 Jackie toured the west coast of Australia as opening act for Hat Fitz and Cara.
Jackie is an in demand session musician, in 2018 Jackie provided backing vocals to her gigging partner Davy Watson for his sell out show in the Ulster Hall with the Ulster Orchestra. 2019/20 until the pandemic Jackie was touring Europe and America providing rhythm guitar and backing vocals as a member of Sinéad O’Connor’s band.
