Mariana Rodrigues

I have a degree is Musicology from NOVA University in Lisbon and I am currently studying singing at the Royal Academy of Music in London (UG). I began my music studies at the age of 6 at the Lisbon National Conservatoire in the Piano Course and later changed to the Singing Course at the Gregorian Institute in Lisbon as well.
I was part of the Youth Choir and Chamber Choir of the Gregorian Institute when I was a student there and we won several 1st prices in national and international choir competitions. Later I joined the Gulbenkian Choir (a professional choir in Lisbon).
I won several 1st prices in singing competitions all over Portugal.
I participated in the International Course of Vocal Music in Aveiro, in the IGL Opera Studio and in the Opera Studio of Antwerp.
I recorded a CD of portuguese contemporary music and performed the modern premiere of Entremez da Peregrina.
