AK Patterson

AK Patterson is a guitarist, fiddle player and singer-songwriter from Cambridge. At the heart of each performance is her ability to command a room with her unique vocal style, one that has evolved since the age of 12 where she learnt to craft songs in the back of an Irish pub. Her lyrics are in equal parts gritty and tender, telling stories of hardship, struggle and hope, that favour the underdog. She’s toured with Mercury Prize winning band alt-J, was reviewed in the Guardian this year by Johnny Flynn and most recently been hailed by Guy Garvey on BBC Radio6.
