Alessandra Micalizzi

Alessandra Micalizzi has been an Associate Professor in Sociology of Cultural and Communication Processes at Pegaso Digital University since 2022. Since 2017, she has been teaching at SAE Institute Milan, where she serves as Coordinator of the Master of Arts in Professional Practices in Creative Media and is a member of the Scientific and Technical Committee. She holds degrees in Psychology and Sociology and a Ph.D. in Communication and New Technologies from the Libera Università di Lingue e Comunicazione IULM. After four years as a research fellow at the IULM Institute of Communication, she collaborated with several Italian universities as an adjunct professor and external researcher. She has taught at IED (Communication and Design) in Milan, IUSVe in Verona and Venice, IUSTo in Turin, and LIMEC, and has worked on national and international research projects with Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and Università Statale di Milano. She is currently the Coordinator of the Ph.D. Program in Digital Humanities at Pegaso University, a board member of the international NaAD Master’s program at IUAV, and a member of the Scientific Committee for ECM (Continuing Medical Education) at OPL – the Order of Psychologists of Lombardy. Additionally, she serves as Editor for several scientific journals, including Narrare i Gruppi (Italy) and Humanities and Social Sciences (Springer), and is a reviewer for Online Information Review and Metodologia e Ricerca Sociale (Franco Angeli).
