Alex Hopwood

Alex is a multifaceted graphic designer and self-taught musician with a background in the performing arts, hosting a strong affinity and knowledge of the interaction between audio and visuals across physical and digital realms. Her consequential fascination with multi-sensory, immersive design is something she is curious to explore in more depth, with ultimate ambitions to carve a career within experiential design and audio.

Having experience in creative direction, motion graphics + storyboarding, music composition + production, photography, editorial design, app + product design, branding, installation art, collaboration, and creative writing, Alex prides herself on being an industrious multidisciplinary artist and thoughtful storyteller with an avant-garde approach and positive, forward-thinking outlook. She strives to create wonder, inspire, unite, engage, open imaginations, and encourage people to discover, explore, believe and be further inquisitive of their realities and fantasy worlds.

A lot of the music Alex creates is very experimental and abstract, some of which is often created to accompany motion graphic / film work. She also creates mashups and cover songs, and continues to collaborate on music within genres such as EDM and lofi. Further creative interests include creating custom audio, small motion graphics pieces, audio-visual work (still and motion, for online and physical use), album artwork, and digital art content (inc. social media / marketing content).
