Ann Grindley

    Ann Grindley is a PhD student at the Open University researching women in music, fin de siècle salon culture and Cécile Chaminade. She has worked as a Research Assistant for DONNE, Women in Music and WMLON (Women’s Musical Leadership Online Network). She has been a mentor for two first-year PhD students and has participated in various teaching modules at the Open University and at Liverpool Hope University. She has been a Consultant for a recent project entitled Addressing the White Racial Frame within the context of a HE music curriculum. Ann currently works within Inclusion Services at Arden University. She has a chapter due to be published in the forthcoming Routledge Companion to Women’s Musical Leadership: The Nineteenth Century and Beyond.
