Anna Douglass

Anna Douglass is in the orchestra for Disney’s West End musical Frozen, where she pretends each show that she is Princess Anna of Arendelle. When not in the pit, Anna regularly performs as guest Principal Horn in orchestras around the country, most recently with the Scottish Chamber Orchestra and the Philharmonia Orchestra. Anna has toured in Brazil with Aurora Orchestra, and in Thailand and Dubai with the BBC Symphony Orchestra. Last year Anna was able to realise her lifelong dream of playing Principal Horn with the London Symphony Orchestra.

Since winning the BBC Young Musician Brass Category in 2010, Anna has also been awarded the Royal Academy of Music Dennis Brain Horn Prize in 2012, and the Bob Paxman Young Horn Players’ Fund Award in 2013, for which she received a custom-made Paxman horn.

Anna is also a regular in film sessions and appears on major soundtracks including Mission: Impossible, the Oscar-winning theme song to the James Bond film No Time to Die, and too many Marvel superhero movies to keep track of.
