Ava

We’re Kodachrome a late teen band from Bristol. We’re highly energetic and certainly have an authority on stage. The band is formed and fronted by twins Ava and Conan, who place a huge emphasis on showcasing every single song as a story.

This makes us hugely different from bands around us – visual performance is a standout feature of our live shows. We also have members from the queer and trans community. Young artists from smaller cities struggle to gain major recognition (as you probably know) and it would be incredible to give working class queer/trans musicians that chance at exposure.
As well as headliners at major city venues in Bath and Bristol – we are regulars at The Fleece and The Louisiana and just played a sell out show at the Thekla on Bristol’s Harbourside. We have played across the South West at Music Festivals such as Harbour fest, Solara, Exeter, Bath & West  and about to headliners at Keynsham for the 3rd year now. We recently opened at the O2 academy Bristol and are about to play festivals like outsider, Lakefest, inglefest and more.
We combine Indie, Prog, Rock, Funk, Metal and Soul. A ‘genre inclusive’ approach to music that reflects the talents of the band members and encapsulates current listening approach – to the widest range of music – from today’s audiences.
We are also very active on social media and have a growing fan base 🙂
