Catrin is a young singer and songwriter from Cardiff. Her first EP, “Y Gwir, Y Gau a Phopeth Rhwng y Ddau”, which translates roughly as “The True, The False and Everything in Between”, included two singles of the week on Radio Cymru, “Disgyn Amdana Ti” and “Dala’n Sownd” and four other songs that have also been popular on the radio.

As well as being shortlisted for Female Artist of the Year on Radio Cymru’s 2012 Rock and Pop Awards, the single “Disgyn Amdanat Ti” was voted third in a public vote for the Sianel 62 awards. Catrin was the only female artist to reach the top ten.

Catrin has performed across Wales including a number of television appearances on “Ar Gamera”, “Y Stiwdio Gefn” and “Heno” and numerous radio broadcasts. She was also lucky to be interviewed for the popular magazine “Y Selar” and was featured on the front cover.

In 2013 Catrin fullfilled a childhood dream when she reached the final of “Cân I Gymru”, “A Song for Wales”, with “Ein Tir Na N’Og Ein Hunain”.

When she is not performing Catrin is a student at aberystwyth University studying Welsh. She also conducts the student choir Aelwyd Pantycelyn and captains Y Geltaidd ladies rugby team.

Catrin is always looking for opportunities to perform and is also looking forward to recording her next album.
