Ell Murphy

South London DJ & singer Ell Murphy has been making moves in the dance scene with her lively and energetic mixes of UKG, breaks and jungle; as a resident on Peckham’s Balami radio and releases with DJ Crisps, Daffy, TSHA, & Bumpi Biznizz – plus notable livestreams for FOLD & Late Night Shopper. Ell cut her teeth in the garage scene as one half of NITEWORK (with UK house don Medlar), with a sold out vinyl release on South London Pressings in 2020 and performing regular live vocal DJ sets. She recently released her debut solo EP on Shall Not Fade sublabel, Time Is Now, featuring collabs with DJ Crisps, Stones Taro, Highrise, Picasso & Tuff Trax; proving her as one of the go to vocalists in the scene right now. Receiving widespread praise from the likes of Jaguar on Radio 1 Dance Introducing, featuring a track from the EP as one of her Dancefloor Moments. This year also saw the release of a collab project on Dansu Discs & further Bumpi Biznizz features on her Jucey Tunes label, with several more featured tracks in the works. Ell is currently working on new music set for release in 2022, along with plenty of live vocal shows scheduled across the UK for the rest of the year, she is certainly one to watch.
