Georgia Dawson- originally from Suffolk, studied at the Royal College of Music before continuing her education on the ethnomusicology pathway at Kings College London. Her performance portfolio includes chamber playing – with all female horn octet Cor8 (of which she is a founding member) and with the 97 ensemble; improvisational performances, co-creating collaborative projects and freelance orchestral and musical theatre work. Georgia is an experienced educator, specialising in early years and workshop facilitation particularly. She additionally advocates through articles and essays for equity in music education and support for musicians mental health.
