Jelly Cleaver

Jelly Cleaver is a guitarist, multi-instrumentalist, producer, singer-songwriter and composer based in South London, and has been called ‘the next artist to make an impact on the London Jazz Scene’ by Supreme Standards. She’s received the Steve Reid Award, been selected for Serious’ Take Five scheme and was nominated for an Ivors Composer Award for Large Jazz Ensemble.

She’s toured the UK as a solo artist and as a guitarist for other artists. She’s also produced and played guitar for artists including Shingai and Loucin Moskofian.

She’s a radio host on Soho Radio (We Call It Yazz), WhyNow Radio and formerly Balamii (Jelly’s Jams) with specialist jazz shows, and has done specials for Jazz FM, Melodic Distraction and Deepbed.As a DJ specialising in disco/jazz/funk/soul she has had residencies at Pop Brixton and The White Hart, as well as shows at The Jazz Cafe, Number 90 and 100 Club.
