Katy Jungmann

Introducing Katy Jungmann, a modern, traditional and unique saxophonist; a passionate and expressive performer.

Katy has worked with many DJs ( djfabrizia, djrajk, Ethan Porte )  She often collaborated with other roaming musicians such as electric violinists ( Oriana Curls, Naomi Wilmshurst, Athena Octavia ) and percussionists ( Miguel Alves, Elite Drummers )

Jazz wise, Katy has performed in the Billie Holiday tribute with David McAlmont. She leads ‘Piaf Remembered’ an Edith Piaf tribute with Oriana Curls from the BBC’s ‘All Together Now’, plus a Stan Getz tribute with Sue Richardson. Other singers’ collaborations include Rachel Jenkins, Anj Perin and Airlie Scott.

Her foundation in jazz has given her the advantage on the gig scene, leading her bands to play such stages as Latitude, Crazy Coqs, Edinburgh Festival, The Ivy & The Pheasantry.

Katy has been privileged to be invited to tour with the theatre company ‘The Eccentric Actor’ as well as enjoying collaborations with various dancers in Italy & London as a soloist & composer. Her saxophone skills have also featured on works by TV & film composers Danny Mulhern & Alan Boyd.
