Kemi Sulola

Kemi Sulola is a singer songwriter and an artist born in East London. With a sound linked to the golden era of RnB, Kemi’s sound gives you a warm nostalgia, as well as introduces you to new  soulful sounds as she blends and extrapolates from different styles such as jazz, reggae, rock and soulful pop. Her light vocal tone allows her to create beautiful colourful melodies making her songs infectious to listen to. She uses her songs to bring awareness for charities , raising funds for causes ( New Form) and to bring awareness for social issues ( Justice).  She has received support from BBC Radio, Capital Xtra , Represent Radio, No signal and many more stations around the UK, as well as internationally such as Block FM in Japan. She has performed her music on live TV and has supported artists such as Teedra Moses, PJ Morton and Stormzy at their concerts. Kemi has  collaborated with artists all over the world, such as the Soulfest Collective based in Canada and formed Diaspora 7 with 6 other international female artists. In 2021 She won Best New Artist by Style and Sound . With co-signs from the likes of Trevor Nelson, DJ Target, and Janet Jackson. Kemi is also making her mark as an upcoming songwriter, writing for upcoming artists and having been invited to songwriting camps and sessions with other credible song writers.
