Kirsty Devaney

Kirsty Devaney is a composer and has worked across the UK in a wide variety of settings including at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, Birmingham Contemporary Music Group, London Symphony Orchestra, The People’s Orchestra, the Library of Birmingham and many local Birmingham schools. Since 2012 she has run the highly renowned “Young Composers Project” at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. Her compositional practice involves collaboration and collective ownership and her music as been aired on Radio 3 as well as shortlisted for a British Composer Award.
