Lois Edge

Lois Edge is an alternative indie folk musician, currently based in Bath/Bristol. Originally from a little town called Southport just north of Liverpool, Lois Edge has been studying and making music for nearly ten years, focusing strongly on their original music. They take inspiration from everyday life and their mental health experiences, writing intriguing lyrical-focused music.
Lois is currently studying for a degree in Commercial Music at Bath Spa University and working towards the first release of an EP. You will find them crammed into a corner of a coffee shop or bar, awkwardly cross-legged, notebook in hand, constantly writing and creating.
They take inspiration from Big Thief and Adrienne Lenker, Nick Drake and Phoebe Bridgers and have been commented in likeness to the likes of,’ Dolores O’Riordan’ and ‘Joni Mitchell.’

They have played venues such as The Zanzibar (Liverpool), Moles and Komeida (Bath) and have upcoming gigs at The Exchange and Crofters Rights (Bristol).

‘I may only be just starting out in my career, however, my love for music is unwavering; I simply want to write and share music relatable and meaningful, hopefully to others.’
