Molly Wishart

Molly Wishart is a 25-year-old singer, pianist, and songwriter based in London. Inspired by her grandad, Molly began playing the piano at the age of four, igniting a lifelong passion for music. By 15, she was performing at her first gig, and music has been a central part of her life ever since. She went on to write and release music with a band during university and is now performing across London while working on her new single, set for release in October.

Molly’s sound is a vibrant blend of jazz, funk, and pop, influenced by artists like Whitney Houston, Marvin Gaye, and Bruno Mars. In 2022, she released her debut EP, Feel The Groove, which she wrote, arranged, and co-produced. Her music has gained recognition, with tracks played on BBC Radio Ulster, and she had the opportunity to perform live on BBC Radio London.

In addition to her original work, Molly is an accomplished live performer. She regularly plays at cocktail bars, weddings, pubs, and private events. She is currently the resident pianist and singer at Piano Works Bar in both the West End and Farringdon, where she takes a variety of requests. Molly has also performed extensively in Belfast, holding residencies at the Europa Hotel and Stormont Hotel, and playing at weddings and venues across Northern Ireland and Dublin.

Molly frequently collaborates with a guitarist, offering versatile sets that feature vocals and guitar or a combination of keys, vocals, and guitar. They perform regularly at bars and pubs in Soho, Notting Hill, and Chinatown, delivering a diverse repertoire that ranges from upbeat pop to laid-back jazz.

Beyond her performances, Molly is passionate about arranging, writing, and collaborating with other artists, constantly exploring new creative possibilities in her music.
