“’Nikita Faie:’ we think means enchantress. And an enchanting voice she has.” – Leo Ulph, BBC Radio Kent.

A Masters graduate of Trinity Laban Conservatoire, NIKITA FAIE is a genre-bending indie artist and classical soprano.

Think Stevie Nicks meets Ludovico Einaudi. Nikita’s 3+ octave range floats effortlessly from atmospheric vulnerability and fiery command to soaring and spine-tingling operatic highs, over a blend of dreamy art-pop and heavier indie sounds. Her original work reflects a background riddled with storytelling; from fronting former rock band The Overnight Angels, to performing opera + studying cinematic composition.

Nikita is an advocate of social issues through her music. In 2020, Christmas single GAUDETE raised £500 for Pilgrims Hospices in East Kent, whilst HUMAN ZOO is raising money for Sea Shepherd UK. Nikita has performed at Silfest (Imperial College London), Broadstairs Folk Week, The Polish Hearth Club (Kensington), Blackheath Halls, The Queen’s House, St.Pancras Old Church (helping to raise £1500 for Save the Children Ukraine), The Tunbridge Wells Forum, The Plantation, The Surya + live on BBC Radio Kent. Her work has been covered by The Holy Trinity Choir and premiered on Pilgrims Hospice’s annual Trees of Love service and on radio stations across the UK and Europe including BBC Radio Kent.
