NX Panther

NX Panther is one of UK rap’s most compelling rising voices, reshaping the scene with intelligence, power and fearless presence. Drawing on her Lewisham foundations and Indo-African roots, her sound spans grime, drill, hip hop, and afro-dancehall.

She has headlined festivals in Southampton including Music in the City, Bedford Place, and BBAM Festival, and in 2025 completed a national EP tour with gigs in Brighton, Bristol, London, and Southampton. International collaborations include Kenyan producer Jay Millz, Tanzanian rapper BK Bakari, and Amani Greene at East African Records. Her 2020 self-produced EP You May Have Been Wondering Where I’ve Been showcased a more soulful, introspective side, drawing on experiences of love, loss, grief, and resilience. The project included merch, artwork, film screenings, and a live version performed with a full band, released as a sold-out livestream in 2021.

NX Panther’s fourth EP “Sunshine” features four tracks including BBC Introducing Solent favourites “Man in the Moon,” “Aura,” and “Home,” blending soulful vocals, raw bars, and empowered lyricism that speaks to transforming pain into power and resilience. The lead single’s vibrant video features dancers from the Bristol Ballroom scene and Notting Hill Carnival against south coast backdrops, radiating soul, strength, and presence.

NX Panther has earned recognition from Music in Africa Net and praise from DJs across 6 Music, Itch Radio, BBC Introducing, Sabras Radio, NRG (UG), and Amazing Radio (US). She was also selected for the BBC Introducing Mixtape and is a “Fresh on the Net” favourite with plays across Exile FM, IS Black Music, and Hardest Bars Fresh Ones, cementing her as a rising UK rap force. 2025 has seen NX Panther interviewed by The Drop south coast hip hop night as well as features in UrbanAsian, 6Street Magazine and Voice FM Voices of Africa.
