Poppy Lou

Hello, my name is Poppy Lou!

I am an 18 year old, West Midlands based bassist, vocalist and promoter, a fun thing is I also love to play euphonium!

I have dedicated many years of my life to music, and it is something I love very deeply. Around two years ago I decided that I would go to college to study performance, i have learnt so much over this period of time and I have just finished my course, leaving me to now work hard and do more of what I love, right now I am very focused on refining my skills as a vocalist, and hosting more exciting gigs around Wolverhampton and Birmingham.

I absolutely love to perform and I am currently planning on setting up a goth/new wave band. One of my most notable achievements I would say is the time that I spent from around October 2024 – May 2025 in a successful riot grrrl band, where at one point I was even gigging once a week.

Some notable venues I have played are Muthers, WAC, DIVE and I have even taken a wonderful opportunity to perform two concerts at the symphony hall!
