Rae Howell

Rae Howell is an acclaimed composer, sound designer and multi-instrumentalist. Director of Sunwrae, an ensemble, label and sheet music publisher, she works internationally across film, theatre, dance, concert hall, and multimedia projects. She has studied in Melbourne, London and New York, and her fellowships include the UNESCO Aschberg Bursary, Finzi Trust and Guildhall Trust Scholarships, the Eric Stokes Award, the Momentum Commission, and Artist in Residence programs in the USA, Canada, South America, West Africa, UK, Europe, Palestine, Vietnam, and Australia. Rae has performed for Royalty in London, produced a large catalogue of albums, collaborative recordings and sound designs, and performed at festivals and events in many countries across the globe.
