The Fountain

The Fountain formed in late 2020 after meeting at Goldsmiths University.
The Fountain are Alejandra (Vocals), Callum (Synth/Guitar)
and Lyric (Bass) and they are joined by a drummer for live sets.
Named after a Eugene O’Neill play their music follows a lineage through electronic
music and alternative pop, combining ambient melodies, trip hop influenced drums
and lead singer Alejandra’s delicate but powerful vocals. Lyrically there is a
socially conscious voice at the heart of everything they do, debut single ‘Heart Of A Woman’
emphasising this with its message of self-determination.

‘With this being our debut release we wanted to be as clear as we could on what this band is trying to be, especially
lyrically. The words arent just there to fill space, it had to be something worth saying and especially something
that resonated within our lives and whats going on around us right now.’
