Winter James

I’m a dynamic vocalist and choral composer working in grass roots gig theatre on trauma informed practices for queer, neurodivergent women. I’m interested in making music and theatre more accessible for intersectional feminist initiatives. Highlights include taking our musical collective, FemmeDaemonium to London Women’s Strike 2020 and producing on 2019 Perhaps Contraption’s Edinburgh Fringe show. This year 2021, I have been awarded an ACE grant to further develop my skills in musicianship and sound tech, to get more real women and non binary voices in larger theatre spaces with music at the forefront of the storytelling.
